SUMMARY:

The Dispensary Inventory Controller manages the process of organizing and managing stock throughout the dispensary’s supply chain. The goal of inventory management for dispensaries is to minimize the cost of holding inventory, while keeping stock levels consistent and getting products into consumers’ hands faster.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be able to meet background and licensing standards throughout employment.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, Tribal or State ID.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Significant experience with inventory management and reconciliation in a retail environment.
  • Considerable exposure to retail cultures focused on well-developed standard operating procedures.
  • Work history that demonstrates stability, progressive responsibility, and willingness to accept new duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Inventory Control System.
  • Count and receive exclusively pre-packaged product transfers to verify product quantities.
  • Monitor (Designated by Tribe or State Inventory Control System and/or Seed to Sale System) system for incoming transfers to ensure all compliance standards are met and necessary information is included in transport manifest.
  • Accept and create transport manifests in (Designated by Tribe or State Inventory Control System and/or Seed to Sale System) and build strain and item profiles as needed.
  • Access (Designated by Tribe or State Inventory Control System and/or Seed to Sale System) daily to finish packages, upload sales, and monitor inventory.
  • Enter product transfers into Designated Inventory Control System and/or Seed to Sale SystemTHC and print labels for any product sold in the dispensary.
  • Perform and oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly dispensary inventories.
  • Develop, train, and delegate tasks to inventory assistants.
  • Ensure all product invoices have been received, verified, signed, and sent to Dispensary Manager for processing.
  • Monitor inventory to ensure all products are accounted for, entered correctly into the system, and all labels and packaging are compliant.
  • Move inventory from secure storage to the sales floor to be sold by Budtenders.
  • Report to the Dispensary Manager.
  • Regular attendance necessary.
  • Regular punctuality necessary.
  • Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at any time during employment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Take and pass the yearly (Designated by Tribe or State Inventory Control System and/or Seed to Sale System) training requiring a score of no less than 75%.
