Minnesota Energy Connection Project will be holding a public hearing this Friday starting at 10 a.m. in the round room of the incubator for Lower Sioux Community Members. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the proposed project of the state's high-voltage transmission line and the proposed route. More information will be provided at the meeting.
LSIC will be hosting Toys for Tots this Friday starting at 10 a.m., participants will not exit their vehicles, instead they will be handed the appropriate item(s) at the time of check in. This event will also be open to the public! Entrance into the Wacipi ground will be the North side with traffic flowing from Dakota Trail, we will be closing off a short portion of Rez Hwy. 3 right by the Wacipi grounds during this event.
