Five Community Council Members are the governing body of the reservation whom act under the authority granted to them in the Constitution of the Lower Sioux Indian Community in Minnesota. It is the Council's responsibility to exercise the powers set forth in the Constitution to regulate the community with the health and well-being of all members in mind.
